Welcome to The Church of Pentecost International Worship Center – Lelystad, known as The House of Testimonies. We are a vibrant, Spirit-filled, multicultural church committed to glorifying Christ, nurturing believers, and impacting our community and beyond. We aim to create a welcoming home where people from all backgrounds can encounter God, grow in faith, and live transformed lives.

OUR CORE VALUES
EVANGELISM
Evangelism is sharing Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit so people come to know Him as Lord and join the Church fellowship. Every believer is responsible for witnessing after salvation. Through cross-cultural and mission-focused outreach, members preach Christ, plant churches, and respond to mission calls as led by the Holy Spirit.
DISCIPLESHIP
Discipleship means training believers to grow in Christlike character—holiness, righteousness, honesty, humility, and disciplined living. Mature members guide new converts, while the Church provides systematic teaching on the four-square gospel, the Tenets, Bible study, scripture memorisation, and applying God’s word to daily life.
MINISTRY EXCELLENCE
We honour God by pursuing excellence in all ministries, activities, and service, reflecting the high standards expected of believers (Colossians 3:23–24).
PRAYER
Prayer is central to our worship—seeking Holy Spirit baptism, nurturing the fruit and gifts of the Spirit, and praying for healing and deliverance. Services reflect true Pentecostal experience through worship, teaching, spiritual gifts, testimonies, and fervent prayer.
MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We depend on the Holy Spirit for new birth, empowerment, and spiritual gifts that build the Church. He shapes Christlike character and guides all Church activities, structures, and decisions. His leadership is essential to our identity and practice.
LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT
Leadership is grounded in apostolic foundations and shaped by character, gifting, and Holy Spirit guidance. Members grow from grassroots involvement to leading ministries, districts, and areas. Teamwork and talent development are key, with both clergy and laity actively serving.
CHURCH CULTURE
Our culture is marked by integrity, discipline, strong prayer life, generosity, fellowship, respect for authority, inclusiveness, and a sense of belonging for all. We uphold monogamous marriage, moral purity, modesty, sobriety, and community-based church planting.
TITHES AND OFFERING
We emphasise faithful giving and tithing to support ministry. The Church teaches this regularly and trusts God alone as its financial source.
What We Believe
THE BIBLE
We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures. That the Bible is infallible in its declaration, final in its authority, comprehensive and all-sufficient in its provisions ( 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21)
MARRIAGE &
FAMILY LIFE
We believe marriage is a lifelong union ordained by God between one man and one woman, as biologically defined. It exists for companionship, procreation, and raising children in a Godly heritage of faith (Gen. 2:18, 21–25; Mt. 19:4–6; 1 Cor. 7:1–2).
THE DEPRAVED NATURE OF HUMANITY
We believe all humanity has sinned and stands under judgment, needing repentance and spiritual rebirth through God’s grace.
THE SAVIOUR
We believe Jesus Christ is the promised Saviour—fully God, born of a virgin, who died for our sins, rose again, ascended, intercedes for believers, and will return to judge the living and the dead.
THE ONE TRUE GOD
We believe in the One True God—Elohim—Creator of all, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is one in essence and attributes: all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present.
DIVINE HEALING
We believe healing is provided through Christ’s atonement and is received through prayer, while also recognising the place of qualified medical care.
THE SAVIOUR
We believe Jesus Christ is the promised Saviour—fully God, born of a virgin, who died for our sins, rose again, ascended, intercedes for believers, and will return to judge the living and the dead.
REPENTANCE, JUSTIFICATION & SANCTIFICATION
We believe people must repent and trust in Christ’s atoning death to be justified. Believers are sanctified by the Holy Spirit and receive God’s gift of eternal life.
BAPTISM & THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe in water baptism by immersion for converts of responsible age, and in Holy Communion for members in full fellowship. Infants are dedicated to the Lord.
